Nicole Wakley – TREE Founder

Nicole Wakley was born in London and began her professional career by studying law in the UK and then moving on to join one of the world’s leading corporations fresh out of law school. After being seconded to Hong Kong in 2000, Nicole very quickly fell head over heels in love with the vibrant, buzzing lifestyle of Hong Kong and the endless opportunities for travel across Asia. Whilst being recognized amongst her peers as a young, leading lawyer in her field, Nicole developed a nagging interest for sustainable living and furniture that she picked up in her travels and decided to follow her dream to establish TREE.

Hugely passionate and with a stubborn love for detail, straight lines, angles and proportions, Nicole was and continues to be the driving force behind TREE’s collections and the imitable TREE feeling. Through Nicole’s enthusiasm and commitment for TREE, Nicole has nurtured a team of individuals who not only share her passion for beautiful, relaxed and re-energizing living space but who also genuinely care about the environment.
